Peer Review Policy
Every manuscript is first screened by the editors for fit with the journal's aims and scope, originality and basic quality. Manuscripts that pass screening go to double-blind peer review: at least two independent reviewers assess each manuscript, and neither authors nor reviewers learn each other's identities.
Reviewers declare any conflict of interest and decline the invitation if they have one. The editors decide on the basis of the reviews: accept, minor revision, major revision or reject. An editor who is an author of a manuscript or has a conflict of interest does not handle it; another editor does.
